AUCKLAND!!!

Our class(RM 8)went to Auckland to learn about how a chosen animal thrives...

WHERE WE WENT:

Auckland Zoo

Up the Sky Tower

B.K

& slept at Kelly Tarltons...

MY CHOSEN ANIMAL:

The animal that I chose was the New Zealand Kiwi bird.

Did you know that the female Kiwi is bigger than the male Kiwi.

Kiwis eat Worms, Bugs, Grubs and other small things.

the Kiwis enemy are Pigs, Dogs, Possums, Rats, Cats and Stoats.

Kiwis live in dark native forest's and sleep in hollow logs or small caves.

The Kiwi behaviour is crazy because Kiwi's sleep in the day and walk around at night...

THE BUS RIDE:

Our bus ride was very boring. At least the seats were cozy!I sat with Tegan half the way there and Robin the other half. But I didn't go back home on the bus because me and the rest of my family stayed in Auckland at my Aunty's house. My dad came with me on the trip and my mum and sister tagged along in their own car...

Mums b-day

Dear mum I hope...

Tuesday 11TH November was my mums b-day!!!

Dad got mum some party toys, made mum a cake and put up balloons.

WHEN IS YOU'R B-DAY &  HOW DO YOU CELEBRATE IT..........

A Good Book!!!

Rainbow Magic is a collection of wonderful story's about fairies!

I've been reading Helena the Horse-riding Fairy.

In the story there are goblins(they work for a powerful monster/goblin)who try to stop the fairies from getting all their crystals, ribbons, flags etc. There is King Oberon and Queen Titania!

There are two other main characters who are Kirsty Tate & Rachel Walker(Humans)and they help the fairies!!!

The  most powerful goblin(Jack Frost)in this story says this to make the fairies  sporty objects to disappear into the human world:

the fairyland olympics are about to start

and my crafty goblins are going to take part.

We'll win this year, for I'v got a cunning plan.

I'm sending my goblins  to the arena in fairyland.

The magic sporty objects that make sports safe and fun,

Will be stolen by my goblins, to keep until we've won.

Sporty Fairies, prepare to lose and to watch us win.

Goblins, follow my commands, and let the games begin!
